President Trump has appointed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST), a panel dedicated to shaping national AI policy. Bondi, who recently departed her role as Attorney General, will now facilitate coordination between the federal government and major tech industry leaders.

Tech Titans on the Panel

The PCAST panel includes prominent figures from the tech sector, such as Nvidia co-founder Jensen Huang, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison. The group is chaired by former White House AI adviser David Sacks and White House science adviser Michael Kratsios.

Pam has been an enormously valuable asset to the president's team, and I'm thrilled for her and for all of us that she's going to remain involved in confronting some of the most important issues the administration faces,

said Vice President JD Vance in a statement.

Expanded Role in Infrastructure

In addition to her AI advisory role, Bondi will also contribute to national infrastructure policy through a newly established position. Her appointment comes after a period of recovery following a thyroid cancer diagnosis shortly after her departure from the Justice Department.

The move underscores the Trump administration's continued focus on leveraging AI and tech expertise to advance national priorities while maintaining alignment with industry leaders.
