KYIV — Aerial footage released by Ukrainian officials Thursday shows an explosive-laden drone diving into a street-side market and striking a civilian vendor in the southern Kherson region. The video, verified by the Ukrainian military, shows the unmanned system tracking the stationary target before detonating, scattering produce and debris.
The vendor, an elderly man selling vegetables from a roadside stand, was killed instantly, according to Ukrainian emergency services. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office released the footage, stating it proves Russian forces deliberately hunt non-combatants.
